Keep Us Moving With A New Wheelchair Accessible Bus

SUCCESSFULLY FUNDED!
Our new bus is here! Thanks to everyone for your support of this much needed cause.

St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation is embarking on a new campaign to replace our existing wheel chair accessible bus. Our current bus is more than thirteen years old and in need of replacement. The bus does not have all the necessary ergonomic features required for some of our residents. In addition, we have incurred some major expenses in regard to the transmission and the engine of the bus. The estimated cost for the procurement of a new bus is $120,000.

Our bus is used to transport residents to doctor’s appointments, to attend spiritual and seniors events, to participate in excursions organized by our recreation team, to participate in civic and cultural events, and to provide access to regular ongoing activities. Additionally, the bus will be used to transport residents to funerals, to allow residents to participate in shopping excursions, to assist with the delivery of medications and medical supplies and assist with the pick-up and delivery of essential items.

We appreciate the generosity of the many individuals and organizations who give to the St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation, and would like to thank everyone for their kindness which will benefit the lives of the residents here at The St. Patrick’s Mercy Home.

Please help us to help our residents by contributing to our campaign.
