Here at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation, we are always busy searching
for new and unique fundraising opportunities to help us reach our goals. Our
fundraising activities include:
- Give Us A Lift fundraiser - A
special Direct Appeal fundraising event to raise funds to
purchase 20 electric ceiling lifts ($6,000 each) for the residents of
St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. These lifts provide residents with safe and
easy transfer throughout their room between bed, wheelchair and
washroom, while easing a heavy physical burden on staff. For more info

Annual Dinner Theatre – held in conjunction with Spirit
of Newfoundland Productions. Location: Masonic Temple, 6 Cathedral Street.

Emerald Auction & Dinner This is a fun-filled evening
of fun and laughter styled on the Harvest of Hope but with some interesting
differences. The event is packed with non-stop entertainment as our
professional auctioneer entertains our guests. Join in the live and silent
auctions and get your raffle tickets before or after you sit to enjoy a
three-course meal.
The price is always reasonable and a charitable donation tax receipt is
available for a portion of the entrance ticket.

Tree of Joy Each Christmas season, the St. Patrick’s
Mercy Home Auxiliary, now offers the opportunity to celebrate or remember a
resident, friend or loved one at Christmas time by having their names
hand-painted on a Christmas Ornament and hanging it on the Tree of Joy. Cost
per Ornament is $10. Contact the Auxiliary/Volunteer Coordinator to purchase
an Ornament.
Our Fundraising Committee is always looking for dedicated, energetic
individuals to help us work towards our goals. If you are interested in
