Making a Donation

Thank you for your inquiry into making a memorial donation.  Memorial gifts made to the Foundation are used to enhance the quality of life of the residents here at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home.

In addition to making a donation on line, you can make a donation in one of these ways: 

1.         You can mail a cheque to:

2.         Use your Credit Card. You may phone the Office directly to make a donation using your credit card (Visa or MasterCard only).  The phone number is (709) 752-8745. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday.

Should you use either of the ways noted above, please indicate the following:

            a. Who the donation is in memory of.

            b. Your name and address, as the person (organization) making the donation.

c. Who you wish an acknowledgement sent to.  Please indicate the Name and address of the person(s) you would like us to notify re: your donation.  (A letter acknowledging your gift will be sent to that person, indicating in whose memory the donation was made, and your name and address as the donor.  The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.)

d. The amount of the donation and the method of payment, if not already indicated.

The Foundation will acknowledge receipt of your donation by sending you a tax receipt for the amount.

3.         Use a Gift ….In Memoriam Card 

Our A gift..... In Memoriam cards are available at most funeral homes on the Avalon Peninsula (Newfoundland & Labrador). These contain the same information as indicated above. 

There is a supply of these cards here in the Foundation Office and if you’d like, we can mail one to you today. Please indicate your mailing address.
